PETSURG is the only surgical facility along the I-15 corridor in San Diego county. The hospital was started to meet the needs of pet owners in San Diego who prefer the peace of mind that comes with having surgical procedures performed by a veterinarian with advanced training and expertise to solve complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgical issues. In addition to having a board-certified surgeon performing surgeries, the hospital has the advanced equipment necessary to perform the surgeries and to monitor pets during anesthesia. Pets also are provided with care and monitoring overnight as well as 24 hours on weekends and holidays to help provide a successful outcome.

Dogs will be walked outside on a regular basis. Surgical patients receive exceptional attention using the safest anesthetic techniques, fluid therapy, heat support, advanced patient monitoring, postoperative nursing care, high quality, and appropriate pain management. After your pet’s visit, you will receive clear instructions on follow-up care at home and when to have your pet rechecked. Your family veterinarian will receive a detailed faxed report. Updating you and your veterinarian is high-quality care for your pet.
